Application of cosmetic fillers is the procedure of choice for a Client who wishes to correct the signs of aging like the undesired skin folds and wrinkles or to augment deflated lips . Also, cosmetic fillers are the best and only non surgical option for Clients who desire to increase the size of their lips or to improve the contour of the face by restoring its lost volume.

Any hyaluronic acid fillers used in our clinic will provide immediate solution to the existing problem. The results are immediately visible and there is no downtime! The suppleness and tone of the skin are naturally restored and the skin elasticity is improved with the filler.

Science of Fillers In our Clinic we use only the fillers with proven safety and effectiveness record. The fillers made of hyaluronic acid contain this natural substance (manufactured in a state-of-the-art plants) that restores lost volume of the skin as it has incredible capacity to absorb 1000 times more water than its own weight!

Both these fillers are very dense and the implant very slowly disintegrates in the skin after the injection. Cross-linking of the molecules of hyaluronic acid is used to increase density of the filler and to facilitate its longevity.

Initial Session

Initial treatment session involves a consultation with our Cosmetic Nurse or Physician, who will review your medical history, discuss your history of previous use of fillers and other cosmetic procedures, check whether there are any contraindications to using a filler.  The Nurse or Physician will also review your cosmetic needs and expectations and will suggest which filler is the most appropriate for you. Also, the risks of the procedure will be discussed. These risks can sometimes involve a risk of bruising, some temporary swelling, risk of infection (of course the skin is properly prepared and cleansed before the procedure to minimize this risk). The consultation is conducted privately, nurturing manner and all your questions will be answered.

Upon selecting the filler and discussing the details, you will sign a standard consent, photographs (“BEFORE”) of the treatment area will be taken (e.g., lips, forehead etc.) for reference in your confidential file.  Since late 2008, we have offered revolutionary Juvéderm™ with Lidocaine that does not require any additional freezing and is greatly appreciated by the Clients! The cosmetic filler is then carefully injected under your skin where it is needed and the smoothness of the tissues will be ensured by gentle massaging of the treated area.  At the conclusion of the treatment, your skin will be cleansed and make up can be applied. Jane Iredale make up, containing inert minerals and bacteria-free, is ideal after the treatment.

MDSpa follows up with our first time Clients within two weeks post appointment to talk about your experience.  A follow-up appointment may be scheduled to review the results of your treatment if necessary.
