Definitely, the ProFractional laser was found to be better tolerated by patients and cause little discomfort compared to its predecessor. In addition, the depth of skin penetration by the ProFractional laser is 1,500 microns (1.5 mm).  The results are fabulous and a population of extremely happy patients is growing fast world-wide! The side effects are transient and include some discomfort during treatment (sensation like a "prickly heat"), facial bronzing lasting for a few days and puffiness of the face that generally may last a few days.
