When a more substantial loss of volume takes place in the tissues
underlying the skin, skin folds form. The most common skin folds arising
from aging are the nasolabial folds, marionette lines depicted so well
on the enclosed photo-diagram of a face. In addition to skin folds, one
can see changes in the area around the mouth with its perioral wrinkles,
smile lines and altered shape of our cheeks that lost its fresh
fullness and firmness of a fresh fruit!
